Baseball and softball have always been an incredibly strong passion of mine. My grandfather started umpiring while serving in the Army in the 1970s and my mother shortly followed suit. My father was no stranger to the game either and umpired minor league baseball.

It wasn't long before I was happily entangled in the beautiful sport as well.  I started at age 14 and have never looked back. Shortly after I started umpiring, I worked a part-time job at a local screen printer's where I learned some tricks and trades about the industry. After moving to the DFW area, I found another job working specifically in baseball and softball outfitting and left after 5 years to start my own company and thus Elyon Sports was born!
